Starting Out with a Birthday Update

Sister Turns Three

The tradition of me writing and sending out update emails started back in 2002 on my first deployment.  It was a way to record and share my adventures abroad with the family back home.  Since then I kept it up to keep everyone a little more in touch with our lives and our growing family.  Now that we are a group of five and a dog it's hard to remember the last update! Christmas maybe? Cub's birth?
So, here we go. I should just start a blog in hopes that it will better chronicle what's going on wherever we are. Maybe I'll dig up the old updates for fun!
Baby girl is now three years old.  She's spunky and fun.  I think there's a little craftiness and sportiness to her.  Her favorite thing to do she says is "play puzzles with you." Evie is my little momma hen.  She is good at mothering since she can adequately juggle both her "big baby's" needs and little brother's while I'm in the kitchen ignoring the chaos! My daughter is a messy, wiggle-worm, that loves everything except for the red peppers and onions on her dinner plate.  Her hair is long. Her eyes are a jewel blue. And her cheeks are soft and sweet.  PaPa took her on a date last night.  They went to DQ for french fries and took their ice creams to the flower garden.  There she chatted sweetly with her "Pop" and told him how excited she was to come home and tell the rest of us about her adventure.  I guess she also appreciates the sharing of the fun as much as the enjoying of it.
